moovin festival 2019

Big names, booming basslines, boutique festival. Moovin Festival is back for 2019 and promises to get you dancing to a music lover’s mix of bass, funk, soul, reggae and house until the cows come home.

It’s the fifth year and from humble beginning the small cow barn party that started with a few hundred people has organically grown to completely selling out last year and has now well and truly established itself as THE  place to party on August bank holiday weekend.

Calling all local artists!

Have you heard of this fantastic upcoming event, a Marple Themed Art Exhibition? The event will take place between 5th to 9th November.

All exhibits must be Marple related (which includes Marple Bridge, Mellor, Compstall etc). The exhibition is free entry for all and no charge to exhibit either. So perfect opportunity to display some of your local creative handy work whatever it may be.

The exhibition is being organised by the Marple Poppy Appeal Team but we stress the exhibits are to be about the Marple area and not the Poppy Appeal.

If you are interested or would like more information, please email poppyappeal@marple-uk.com
